When Paper City's proclaimed "Sultan of the Soiree" Todd Fiscus asked DMAC to renovate his jewel-box floral shop "Avant Garden" in Highland Park Village, we were thrilled. And so, too, was D Magazine with the end result (read more). We implemented the old-world touches envisioned by Rob Dailey of Robert William Dailey Interiors including detailed custom cabinetry with custom faux finish, hand-applied wall texture and unique diamond-patterned travertine floor. To create better flow in this tiny space, we demolished an over-sized steel staircase and replaced it with new custom wood stairwell and spiral staircase. New solid-sheet flooring and functional transom windows created an open airy work space primed for productivity and creativity alike.
